Subject: Women In Science

Description: Women In Science is an organization that fosters communication among women at all levels of science, enriching their membership in the scientific community and providing a forum for discussion of the issues they face. We are undergrads, grad students, post-docs, and faculty members. Although we are mainly women, men are welcome to be members. We host a variety of events including dinners with faculty speakers, lectures by invited guests, study breaks, and panel discussions. The mailing list of Women In Science is an integral part of our organization. All members are eligible to submit information about upcoming WIS events as well as events of other organizations that could be of interest to WIS members. Career, grant, fellowship, and lecture opportunities are often posted to the mailing list. We invite you to be a part of our growing organization.
