Subject: General Listserv For BLSA Members and Allies

Description: Whereas BLSA's current listservs are exclusively used to communicate to BLSA members and are delineated by class years, this listserv would serve as means for non-members to stay abreast of relevant news, events, and opportunities. This includes events hosted by other Black affinity groups on UChicago's campus, Cook County Bar Association news and events, and opportunities and events passed along by the Black Men/Women Lawyers Associations here in Chicago. Often these entities provide us with flyers and ask us to share with the broader law school community, but until now we have not had an efficient way of doing so. This listserv would solve that problem.
