Description: This registration list is for people who wish to receive university issued Security Alerts, as required by the Clery Act, who are not already enrolled with a University of Chicago email. Security Alerts are automatically sent via email to all members of the University community (via their university issued email) and anyone else who signs up via this list to receive them. The alerts provide timely notification about significant crimes that have occurred on campus or on public property that is immediately adjacent to campus and that are also determined to represent a continuing or ongoing threat.

For those who wish to receive timely Crime Notices regarding certain serious off-campus crimes that have occurred within UCPD's patrol area and that were reported to UCPD can opt-in to receive UCPD Crime Notices.
